Writing Workshops Hawaii brings together fiction and nonfiction writers for an intensive week of workshops, craft seminars, one-on-one conferences, and in-depth discussions on the craft and business of writing. Our program is inclusive, intentionally small, and will take place among towering evergreens and fragrant ocean breezes along Hawaii Island's North Kohala coast.

Experience a deeply immersive and nourishing Reiki retreat on the beautiful Island of Hawaii. The islands that were the first Western gateway of Reiki from Japan. Sit in a circle with Johannes Reindl, Lineage Bearer, and Joyce Winough, Curator of Legacy from the Office of the Grandmaster. Together, we will explore the heart of Usui Shiki Ryoho (Usui Method of Natural Healing) through shared conversation, oral tradition, and direct experience. This retreat is open to Students and Masters who actively practice and embrace Usui Shiki Ryoho.

Beyond anthropocentrism, Buddhist meditation expands our recognition of embodied interdependence. On this retreat, practicing with the body and the elements as our entry way, we will explore the radical gift and responsibility of interdependence. Held at the beautiful Hawaii Retreat Center on the Big Island, overlooking the ocean, this unique retreat will be held in noble silence. In addition to meditation and dharma talks, the program will also include music, guided somatic practice and movement, small-group inquiry, and ritual.
